Fidelity Brokerage Services filed a complaint against Adam Ritter, a former vice-president and financial consultant in Highland Park, Illinois, alleging he misappropriated trade secrets, customer information, and violated his employment agreement by allegedly taking clients representing $1.4 billion in assets with him to his new employer, NewEdge Securities. The plaintiff alleged the defendant breached the terms of his employment contract by engaging in this activity.
